  • IMPORTANT | It is advised that you consult your country's foreign or overseas department before you travel due to political or social unrest, instability and terrorism in specific regions or across the country. Your government's ministry will provide guidance as to whether it is safe to travel to this country (or to parts of it)
  • LGBTQIA+ travel discretion is advised. It is illegal to identify as LGBTQIA+ or engage in same-sex relationships. The country has laws whereby you could be prosecuted, and the maximum penalty might be severe. Though the authorities do not enforce the death penalty, groups of people (vigilantes) are known to torture, apply beatings, and even commit murders against members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The country and government are aware of the actions of these groups and allow them to continue. It is always recommended that you carry out independent research before travelling
