Gayther Trinary

Trinary, as a term, relates to something that consists of three parts. Gayther Trinary is three unique services tailored for specific purposes, Core, Care and Share. The trinary was created to help visitors access the Gayther tools, guides, and services quickly and easily and act as a new structure and platform for the latest content, services and tools, all of which was developed to tackle all of the challenges many people face within the global LGBTQIA+ community.

The first part of the trinary is Gayther Core. Core is the information component of the offering, the service with the sole purpose of informing, educating, helping and guiding members of the community. Gayther Core is home to 668 country and regional guides, over 7,000 weather trends, community guides and indexes such as the same-sex marriage index and the worldwide LGBTQIA+ equality index.

Gayther Core is also home to an extensive collection of travel and transport guides, such as interactive metro maps, enhanced airport terminal guides and train station information for many countries worldwide. Gayther Core’s media and entertainment pages are packed full of fun games, interesting articles and the latest community news.

With the introduction of the pride in sexuality, gender identities, and special groups series, there are now areas dedicated to helping people understand more about a sexual or gender identity and helping friends and allies learn more about the diverse and unique variances amongst the community.

With ageing populations, high volumes of LGBTQIA+ youths at risk and many community members displaced due to growing hostilities, forcing many into becoming migrants and refugees; many of these groups are underrepresented. At Gayther’s core, we want to represent the entire community and feel that no one must be left behind, and that is why we created care.

Gayther Care is a new service and the second part of the trinary, dedicated to providing valuable tools such as emergency services telephone numbers and translations for key emergency-related terms for hundreds of countries and languages worldwide. The Care service also focuses on the many challenges relating to the LGBTQIA+ youths, refugees and the elder gay community.

Pages dedicated to LGBTQIA+ youth and refugee resources and sections highlighting the many obstacles older LGBTQIA+ members face. Care also includes an interactive global directory, a service in which LGBTQIA+ friendly or tailored care home services and providers can showcase their businesses and services. Gayther Care’s non-profit organisations and support groups directories enable visitors to seek local or global help or assistance by searching or filtering the various resources listed.

The third and final part of the trinary is Gayther Share. Share, also known as Gayther Affinity, is a new service and provides a closed network and dedicated space for community members and their friends to meet, share ideas and interact with other likeminded people worldwide. With hundreds of tailored groups and forums representing all sexual and gender identities, users of the service can connect to the global community in a safe space. The Affinity site is a closed network, which means to view any group, forum or profile, visitors must first register, be logged in and agree to the policies designed to stop unacceptable behaviour and online bullying.

Gayther has a zero-tolerance policy relating to trolling and online bullying. Many of the features (block, report etc.) quickly remove users not abiding by the terms and conditions. In addition to Affinity, inclusive businesses and events welcoming the LGBTQIA+ community can create listings within the Gayther directory, interact with their existing customers, and attract new customers with our enhanced features that enable people who have used a service, business or attended an event to provide feedback and comments.

Gayther is one service, providing three unique websites, tailored and focusing on different aspects and themes. All designed to help visitors, customers, community members, and friends find what they are looking for quickly and easily.
